Welcome to my blog, my visual diary or journal. Name it what you will, for me, it is a photographic portrayal of love.

What colour is love.

Light is my first and foremost ally, it has a fleetingness of touch that I’m drawn to photograph. The short lived moment of ambient light which surrounds a bride and groom draws and immerses me into the moment.

Love is the beginning and love is the end.

Photography is my medium of expression, I’m drawn to people and the theatre that surrounds them. My history is working freelance for internationally known fashion magazines and advertising clients, shooting fashion and beauty stories, being commissioned for portraits of musicians, actors and artists alike.

Your wedding day is created with love, by love and in love.

I’m not about creating a ‘ Historical document ‘ or an ‘ Archive ‘ of your day. I capture the vibe, the spirit, the poetic beauty of each unrepeatable occasion. I walk into each wedding day with newly naive eyes, each celebration is unique and there is always a story to tell. It is your family, your friends, your people, gathered in a place you’ve chosen that puts this love in front of me.

Memory and the pleasure of the eyes, that is the whole aesthetic.

A bride once commented to me on first seeing the images of her wedding day, that they reminded her of how she ‘ felt ‘, the intense feeling of love and joy that surrounded her came flooding back. For my work to evoke such a beautiful response there could be no greater compliment.
